Central Neurological Medical Institute. Earlies- CNH- Central Neuro Hospital After Passing M.Ch. Neuro from Bombay University in 1981, The dilemma of to practice at Bombay or NAGPUR – finally as per wish of Dr. G. M. Taori and Dr. S.S. Babhulkar I Started my 10 Beded Hospital in rented building at Justice P.P. Deo’s bunglow on 27th Dec. 1981. The whole lot of vidarbha and part of M. P. patients were catered at this hospital in Feb 1987 – The whole unit shifted to CIIMS in respect of DR GM TAORI, All the instruments, Equipments and operative article and staff are Shifted to CIIMS.
On 16 october 1988 – again the whole Paraphernalia shifted to 10/A Shankar Nagar in a private bungalow In 1992 I purchased a plot at 80, Shankar Nagar 5000 Sq.feet and build-up 35 – Beded, 5 Storay building with all facilities. in 2002 it is converted CNI into CNMI ie in carporeting other multi spaecilaties term as CNMI “Central Neurological & Medical institute” CNMI is the institute which started in 1981, 1st time in India- that any Neuro surgical work started in private setup, 1st time in india & withaout any institutional backup. It is now about 42 years old with about 8500 Oprations of brain & Spine Where all types of Neuro surgical work is carried-on. Dr. Sudhendoo Babhulkar Neuro surgeon & Dr. Sneh- psychiatrist are other directors of CNMI apart from prof. Dr. Shyam Bhabhulkar it is now in 42 year’s.
